MAP=Manufacturer's Advertised Price. It is used when you want to sell something for a price that is lower than what you are able to advertise on your website. The price will only display in the cart.
When adding or editing a product you have the option to enable MAP pricing. If MAP pricing is enabled for that product, it replaces the price throughout your website with editable text that says: "Priced so low, we're not able to advertise it. Add to cart for price."
